That is a personal choice that only you can make.

Good luck,

Before I bought the Magnum I had 3 X-M Radios.
Now I'm Sirius only.

The X-Rated comedy is better on X-M
and I don't get Fox Sports talk anymore (just ESPN stuff).
That's the downside for me.
But the wife loves the music much better on Sirius.

Sirius:
NFL and NBA

X-M:
MLB

The reason I liked X-M's X-rated comedy,
is because it was standups all the time.
Sirius has some goofy mob disk jockies in the afternoons sometimes.
I HATE that.

That is my choice.
Until 2007 when Nascar moves to Sirius.

Here is my take as I have them both. I like the comedy, the 60's decade, and Nascar better on XM. Other than the 60's decade, I prefer the music selections on Sirius, especially Classic Vinyl.
If you are in a city where the traffic reports are covered, XM has dedicated stations, where Sirius shares the cities (ATL-BOS, DC-BALT, NY-PHIL). XM has Opie and Anthony, Sirius gets Stern in Jan. 2006. Both include the Online service with their subscription and both have trial days for the Online service, so try them both for free and then decide.
Once my complimentary subscription to Sirius is up, I will probably drop XM, although, I use XM via a Roady2 unit, so I may keep it have have the best of both worlds.
The net of it is I listen to traditional radio for about 15 minutes in the morning for some local news, and then it's over to Satelite.
