These are the tires I want. I just wanted to make sure you didn't have any rubbing issues with the larger size of 255/55-18. There are tons of choices in that size too.

I like the OEM Contis myself. They stick like glue to me on curves, great traction last winter on ice and snow, seems good in rain. The only thing I notice is a slight 'feathered' wear on the outside of the fronts, but i figure a slightly different offset wheel and my fast turning is the reason. Drives and handles fine. I bought a brand new (10 miles) OEM set for spares on EBay for a few hundred dollars instead of the $200 + each I was quoted from the tire store. I have those mounted on the OEM RT wheels that I use in the winter.

NOPE, as of yet, no issues at all (and mine is lowered).

I bought a brand new set of Contis (with wheels) off a 300C from a local tire dealer, and put them on my RT. Since they were new I had them siped too. I have siped tires on my Jeep and they are great, especially in wet or snowy conditions. Only cost $40 to have it done on all four. I am looking forward to checking these out in weather.

I would like to know if any clearance issues are encountered with the BFG 255 55 18's ? The price is good as compared with the BFG KDWS 245 55 18's I had previously considered.
Thanks!

I went to 235/55 18s myself finally in Bridgestones. I see no clearance issues even on 10 wide rims. What you ideally want is a tread width that is close to the rim width. You can go either way a little with no problem. I dont think 255 is that much larger than 235s to make any difference.
