Looks nice and clean - can;t do it on my car though, I found another use for the rear wiper. When the tailgate is full I tie a rope around the wiper down to the hitch.

I enjoy having my rear windshield wiper, maybe just for the fact that I've never owned a vehicle with one before! Looks good, but that "circle" would annoy the hell out of me. What's your plans to smooth that out? Is the hole as large as the circle? In one of my former lifes, I had a S10 that I had installed a 3 piece sweep wing onto the tailgate (not to be confused with the large Daytona style wings seen on trucks). When I installed the wing, to give it a better grip I counter sunk some screws into the wing and tailgate. I took some black silicon and filled the holes in until it was smooth, then applied a little touchup paint. You couldn't even tell what I had done once I was finished. Just a thought....

magnum3,
I'll let a body shop do it. They'll fill it in with a welded disk, then fill in the edges and paint the rear deck. I'm having the rear handle shaved at the same time. I can use the button that opens it under the lip of the liscense plate where my rear view camera is now. Gonna shave the sirius antenna too. Wish I would have done that when I had the roof rack shaved but it was still in use at the time. Also, I am fabricating a rear wing with LEDs all the way accross that are frenched in. They will replace the existing 3rd brake light. It otta be really clean when done.

rcbandit, that's my wife's magnum. She wanted one after driving mine.

Man its gonna be sick when you're done. I have put all mods on hiatus (spelling) until they get my car right. I have a lot of issues with my Mag at the moment and if they can't replace I'm hiring a lawyer and getting my money back for the car. If they fix all the problems then I will probably look into doing a few more things, but nothing as extreme as what you've done. Good luck with her.

Hey Grin, how hard was this de-install? I had a thought about this. you see many guys that put those billet ends on their front wipers when they take them off for show, how about something for the rear. I use my rear wipers a lot in Atlanta, especially in the spring and summer with the rain. I would like a temporary solution for show purposes and cruising in nice weather. How hard is it to pop on and off? Do you think this is possible, or would it be more trouble than its worth? I have to say that your temporary solution doesn't look nearly as bad as the wiper. Let me know what you think. You know you're going to have to do another video install, I mean, deinstallation.

Good deal.
I've been thinking of getting rid of mine so I can put some graphics on the rear window.
