idiot lights and gauges issue
I have an '06 Magnum R/T AWD. Every now and then while I am driving down the road, the idiot lights all come on for a second or two and then go out, at the same time all the dash gauges drop as if the car is off, but there are no other issues. The car keeps running, the fan, radio, and everything else stays on. It usually only happens in the morning, somewhere between 5-8 miles from home. It almost never happens in the evening on the way home or outside that range. Any suggestions?

I could only find one service bulletin on such an issue as yours but it indicates that it usually happens after exiting the vehicle after it is started. Maybe while pumping gas or going into store with vehicle running? Anyway, not sure this is your issue but I am posting just in case it could help.

Instrument Cluster Resets If Driver Exits Vehicle With The Engine Running Or Ignition In
The Run Position.
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves installing a ground strap between the seat cushion support and the
seat track rail.

could change from temperature or trip mileage to the odometer mileage.
DIAGNOSIS:

PARTS REQUIRED:
Qty. Part No. Description
1 04469334AC Ground Strap
Thanks for checking on it. I had the grounding strap installed after this happened the first few times. That took care of it for over a year, but it is back. Maybe the strap wasn't installed right.
