Time to look for a replacement vehicle since the Dakota pickup has seen better days. I always liked station wagons and the 2008 Magnum R/T or SRT8 w/hemi/allwheel drive would be my choice. Any advice on what to lookout for or things to avoid/price/options? I've heard that build quality had some issues. Comments?

 

I was going to get the Hot rod model when first researching the car. "settled" happily with the 3.5 sxt. I have pushed 30 mpg on the highway and have had one problem in 128,000 miles the infamous "stuck in park" problem.. (another post) With fuel closing in on $5.00 a gallon might want to reign in the ponies... JMO... Any model without the 2.7 should suit you fine... Good luck... They are an awesome ride..

 

Thanks for the insight. I was thinking that the hemi w/the cylinder shutoff would be a good choice.
