I run 32 on the SXT 215/65R17 Goodyear. Label says 30. I add the 2 to decrease rolling resistance giving about a 1-2mpg increase. Winter time I bring it back down to 30.

I have the same Conti's that you have and I run 35 PSI in all 4 tires.

Go with the door plaque specs. If you want ask the nationional tire safety board.

My alignment guy told me to raise the pressure on the Conti's to 40 PSI, which I did about 10 months ago. I check tread wear monthly with a tread depth gauge. I have since lowered the rears to 38 PSI, as they were wearing slightly more in the centers. The ride is a little harsher, but the handling has improved significantly by doing this. I have 10000 miles on my RT now, and the Conti's are less than half worn out. My alignment guy also aligned the front end with me in the car. You'd be surprised how just the weight of the driver will throw all adjustments out of tolerance. He told me BMW is the only one that calls for alignment with weight in the front seat.
