Been driving a couple of months with Flowmaster mufflers and no resonators. I need to get rid of the 1800-2200 rpm drone as well as the MDS drone. Would like to go with aftermarket straight thru resonators for sound quality (stock ones way too quite). My question is will after market products kill these two drone situations as well as the stock ones do (did)? Anyone gone down this road? Thanks.

 

Alot of guys (myself included) had 12" glasspacks installed in place of the rear resonators and it got rid of the "drone".

 

I installed a nice stainless resonator by Magnaflow.
