Hey guys with the GSM products how do you feel about the company. I know that they seem to be at the cutting edge but the overall lack of posts ether way about the S/C is a little disconcerting. I understand there are bugs when something like this is this knew. I am mainly asking this because of their new fan/traction mode they are currently seeing. It seems to have even more hype then the supercharger with even less info on it and many more people have already purchased it. Could we expect them same results as the S/C, I mean they said it was good to go and fully tuned and it seems to me that it is anything but. Just looking for some input form those who have dealt with them and their products before spending money on something that could very well void the warranty and/or damage my car in someway.
Well, customer service... Let me give you an example: I made an appointment to get the upgrades done to my s/c - moved fuel map box, etc. for the 11 of last month with Scott weeks before and the date was set by him.. I reconfirmed a number of times (I was hauling my car from Phoenix 375 miles) and wanted to make sure it could get taken of. I hauled it to LA the night before and was at GS at 8:30 a.m. Scott was there and we got the car on the lift, then he said he had to leave for the morning and wouldn't be back till 2 p.m. (seems he had to sign some paperwork for the new car he was getting.) Most of the work was done by me and my buddy from Phoenix. Now, he does me right with parts, it just takes constant phone calls. I think that there are a lot of companies in the automotive industry that over promise and under deliver, it took over 4 days more to get the new injectors for the car than it should have. In thier defense, they are just buried with work, and I will continue to buy from them if they have something I need. I just have learned what to expect. Some new people have been hired there and I hope that improves customer service.

I pressurized the cylinder that was throwing MIL codes, it won't even hold 70lbs of pressure, blows back out the oil filler back which means either rings, piston or both. In any case a rebuild is in my future very soon. If you get one installed make sure it is tuned right, and not just on a dyno to pull some high numbers. Know the AFR before you accept delivery. Who knows what lead to my engine being FUBAR'd, was it the time the controller box failed, ran lean since I picked it up, the run at the track with the oil being pushed out the breather tube which diluted the fuel? All I know is I now have to rebuild a motor with less than 12K miles on it.[:@]

I agree completely, Air/Fuel ratio is critical, and my Dyno work has not been to get high numbers rather to tune it so it is reliable, Obiwan and I had ours done - we were the first 2, and then I think shoved aside for the SRT8 kit to make a big splash. I'll have a lot of $ in Dyno time before I'm done.

man, really sorry about the severe problems obiwan. sounds like you cracked some rings or ringlands to get that much blowby. i got greedy with a 302 ford. it ran great with 12 lbs of boost on a stock motor, but i turned it up to 20 lbs for the drag strip. it blew up like a bomb before i made it out of first. 5 pistons had broken ringlands.

i can't believe the stock computer can't handle 6-8 lbs of boost without going lean. sounds like boost is way beyond the stock computers parameter. my guess is that their srt8 motors will meltdown too. GS motorsports needs to go back to school.

does anyone make an aftermarker computer? maybe DFI or someone?? i think with a computer that can handle the parameter with the A/F ratios, blowers will work, not just melt parts.

maybe next year......
