CAT, or not to CAT?

CAT, or not to CAT?
Dear Magnum People,
Is there any way of, instead of fitting high flow sports CATs, just ditching the CATs altogether and having a straight bit of pipe?
How would the engine management computer be fooled into thinking the CATs were still there? Can I get a 'dummy CAT' module to plug into the CAT sensor connector points, giving out a default standard signal to keep the management system happy?
Surely, doing this would cost less and give both more sound and more power.
Or am I wrong..?
Your insights would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Regards,
Daf-T

If you aren't worried about the severe fines, and obviousness of running no cat.. then by all means the no cat will give you the most power and it is free.

^You will however have to do the non fouler trick to keep the computer from throwing codes at you

Thanks for the reply.
Can you tell me more about these 'non-fouler spark plugs'.
None of your images come up, so I'm only going on your words.
Are they actual spark plugs?
Or are they like dummy Lambda sensors?
It sounds like they are spark plugs which I drill out, so as to thread the Lambda sensor back inside it, then screw the whole combined thing back into the Lambda sensor hole. Or am I wrong..?
Doesn't anyone just make a dummy Lambda sensor that connects to the wiring harness and gives out a default 'everything's cool' value?
Thanks - Daf-T

The non fouler is basically a kinda cover/raised seat if used a certain way. Most of the time it is used for spark plugs (o2 sensors in this case). It keeps the o2 sensor from being in the direct path of the exhaust emissions.
The reason this needs to be done is becasue if the o2 sensor is left the way it is, it will notice a different threshold of o2 than if the cat was installed. Then you get a cel for a bad cat and as soon as a mechanic sees that and sees you not having a cat.. you will be a big mess.
