to all: has anyone blew out their stock shocks since they have lowered their magnum? I have a weird noise and double checked the eibach springs and they are in right. When I hit any type of bump I get a ticking type of noise from what sounds like the rear end area. Any ideas?

Mine is fine, although I am not running the LARGE tires, like you, maybe that is the issue?

the ride isn't so bad...when there's no noise. hehehehe

I'll have to wait until the weekend to have another look...and try and figure out where the noise is coming from....

quite a few people have a noise coming from the rear gate. open the rear gate and push up and down on the bumper and listen for the noise. mine is coming from the gate. i thought it was the shocks too, but it wasn't. lowered cars ride stiffer which enhance rattles.

I'll try that in a few minutes....maybe I'll take a short drive around with the gate open and see if the noise duplicates itself again....

well I couldn't stand the noise anymore so I took the car to the dealer. This is what they stated:

"Car is bottoming out on the strut mounts in the front, and the shock mounts in the rear depending on the angle in which you hit a bump. Nothing can be done to fix this issue unless you raise the car....."

So now it's time to make something....

Anyone have any ideas???
Anyone else have this problem with their eibachs?

I just had mine lowered a couple of weeks ago. So far no problems for me. However i'm riding on 20" wheels with 255/45/R20's.
Hopefully you can get the problem resolved.
