Default New sub & enclosure in progress. FINISHED!!

After realizing this car show season I need some storage room for the cleaning supplies. So I am going with a single TREO TSX 12" dual 4ohm. Parallel them to get 2 ohms. Keeping the amps where they are. Using magnetic catches to keep the lid on. Box is going to have 1.33ft3. Treo recommends 1.25ft3 + .08ft3 for speaker displacement. Going to have to cut down the amp cover 5.5" to get the new box to fit. Here are some pics of the progress. The box is made of .75" mdf

Hey welcome back, I havent seen you on the forum in awhile!

Unbelievable, def boom capable. And so friggin smooth. I wish I could have compared the Alpine "R" series but it was too deep. Wish I would have gone with it in the beginning, but it has been so long since I have been in the stereo scene, I was hesitant for a new-to-me brand. I sold my Alpine HU and hopefully the 10's and it be paid for. The only new cost is the box and carpet about $40. So not bad. The Treo has over 2" of excursion. When I was showing it off to the guys at metro Audio Dynamics, hit about 40hz and the logo was 3D, cool stuff. Im going to try to get the video capible digital cam adn capture it. So friggin kewl. I ran the BassMechanix demo DVD and they were so clear and loud. The Guys at Metro were wowing. They said too bad they didnt install it or they would put in on their site haha. I've worked out a deal with them to use my laptop, the db Dragrace software and their Pro-Term mic to get a reading, I will be able to play with the settings and get a good max. Last time when they had the db Race, they broke the Sirrus sponsored db DragRace attentance record, 76 participants. I didn't have anytime to really tweak it, I just did it by ear and hit 129.5db. Came in last haha. It was ok I just wanted numbers, seems everyone at the car shows keep asking what it hits. I am going to try to get te numbers tommorrow before the weekly car show.

cool, my ppi can reach 30 hz, but doesn't have enough volume without distorting to drag.

ok i guess im acting like a kid with a new toy, but I think I outdid myself this time. Other than a rear DVD screen, I am calling it done! Here is a retouched niteshot. I couldnt find my tripod to take the long shot, so there is some blurr. Hmmm going to have to move the "naked lady" to even it out abit.

Not a prob, need to face to face sometime to see what you are looking for. I got the 2 10" up for sale. Talk to Grinner, he has done the header thing. Heck, we might even do a road trip hahaha. 23.2 is pretty good. Thank goodness the prices are coming back down. Weather looks crappy for the car show today. Not even sure if they are still doing it. I guess I'll find out tonight haha. Laterz!
