I'm trying to confirm if the Magnum touring package is a dealer installed option or factory item. This package includes the backup assistance sensors for use when backing up. I found the package on the dodge site, but not anywhere else. Two of the dealers I spoke with indicated this was a Mopar option, but didn't agree on how the package was ordered.

As far as I can find the Backup Assistance Sensors are an optional accessory (part #M82208246 I believe). I do not see a Touring Package offered for the '06 only for the '05. Maybe some one else knows more about it.

 

when i ordered my '06 magnum, that was not a factory option, but it is in the accessory catalog. not factory installed, but you can order it through the dealer. there is also a picture of it in the '06 magnum catalog, again not factory installed.
