Default Dash pieces removal step-by step with pics

I was looking to see if the 300's trunk release harness was strapped up somewhere inside the dash area. I couldnt find it, but decided to take some pics so yall can see dash dissembly. I disconnected a harness on the left wall by the door to see if there were any unsused pins, now I got a check enging light on, looks like a trip to the dealer if it dont clear up. Dang!

Door jam cover piece cover removed, just pulls out.

1 screw next to the hood release. This piece is held on with push fasteners after the removing the 2 screws.

Dash with piece removed. I didnt remove the parking brake handle, I just let it hang

Close up of the under dash area. You can see the brake switch and the "drive-by-wire" sensor hooke up the gas pedal in the back left. YOu can also see the link system for the movable steering column. The only wiring harness not hook up was the wires for the fog lamps strapped to the light switch harness (not shown)

Now to get the instrument cluster, remove the ignition switch cover. Here is what it looks like removed, you can see the teeth that hold it on. It just pops out.

remove the 3 screws on the bottom of the instument cluster cover. It is held in now by push fasteners, just pull out.

This is the cluter cover without the trim piece. Kinda of a different look. But I put the cluster trim piece back on. And reassembly is reverse. Hope yll enjoyed or learned a lil somthing.
