Default Audio question - Nav radio and subwoofer

I just bought an '06 R/T AWD with the NAV 6 disc radio and my salesman told me that it has a subwoofer in the rear cargo area on the passenger side. Is this true? I thought it was only a 6 speaker system. He told me it's a 7 speaker system. I tend not to believe him because I really don't hear any bass coming from the back, even though I really haven't tested the sound system fully yet.

If he told you after it was ordered then maybe. How is the nav(I am planning on getting the exact same thing RT-AWD with navi, the 3 conv. groups, and tow pkg)? We have the "best in car system" on our other car and even that is far from perfect.

Also, how does the system sound, level and clarity wise?

To be honest with you, I really haven't gotten to play around with the NAV yet or really tweak the audio system. I just got the car on Friday. From what I can see though, the NAV system has way more options and is easier to use than the one in our Volvo.

The reason I am a little worried about using this nav over the one in our other car is the other is 8 inches, touch screen, and voice activated.

That sounds very convenient, but this one seems pretty user friendly. You can either use the controls on the radio or the buttons on the steering wheel to navigate (no pun intended) through the controls. At least it seems a lot better than the system on our Volvo.
