should i buy a 2006 magnum rt with 15000 miles?
i already took a look at the car cand drove it, it literally looks brand new, carfax looks good as well. still its a 12 year old car and i dont wanna deal with repairs. something i moticed when i was driving it is that the brakes are a little hard to press and its not smooth.
what do you guys think? anything i should pay attention to? i was gonna take it to a mechanic and have him inspect it. im gonna be driving mostly highway about 350 per week
asking price is $12k by the way

In mint showroom condition I still don't think it worth $12K. I would check Kelley Blue Book and you local Craigslist or other local sources for a more reasonable value, especially if it needs brake or other as yet unknown work.
I just bought an 08 with a 3.5 with a broken rod.. and only 83,000 miles.. its a beautiful car. clear coat still on it surprise, surprise. cloth interior all in great shape, i've been looking to find one for over 3 years and have seen the prices double then triple on pure junks that have the HEMI.. who ever was in charge at the time these where introduced in my opinion was looking to force the values of DODGE shares up and up ...hard to get parts for or i should say way over priced for what you get. 3rd party parts dealers are enjoying the frenzy! buying these parts will break you if you have to repair it at a dealer...my case is DODGE WANTED 8.000 TO REBUILD THE LITTLE 3.5, but my first jobs in life were at the Torrington Bearings Co. which was bought out by Timken bearings, which then sold old to a company called yoyo or something like that. i the went to work later in life for Victor Gaskets , which is now defunct, my point being is i know machines, and that no matter how many miles or condition of the Magnum 2005 to 2010 is not worth 12,000 dollars. the cars are engine specific and they made them into whats called an interference engine which mean if you break the timing belt your your gonna bend your valves and screw up your heads..i have always been a MOPAR FAN... but i'm gonna put another brand name motor in it LOL which can be done but i'm not going MOPAR ...to expense and to hard to get parts for it...heck a junkyard wants 1500 to 2000 for a 3.5 block that has how many miles?????? and how was it taken care of no one knows..!!! i just bought a rebuilt so called 3.5 short block that was told to me re certified by Chrysler/Dodge.. WHAT A JOKE ..taking them to court now what a waste of time and money that is. i'll get my money back ..YES SIR REE...PRETTY SOON Chrysler and Doge are going to put locks on their hoods where if you try to change your own oil or add antifreeze your gonna void your warranty, like allreadty they have stopped common folks from checking their transmission fluid ....what a pain in the butt...
NO MAGNUM IS WORTH $12,000 DOLLARS
By the way this is probably my first and last post here ...we will see...
Draftingmonkey is correct
