My nephew just graduated from boot camp this summer, when do join the Corp?
I don't think Dodge will have a plow option for the Mag, way to nice of a car to punish it.

2 years when I am out of HS.

I guess I figured since its a "truck frame" they could offer a plow package, or some aftermarket company would.

The Magnum just plain sits too low for a plow to be mounted.
My nephew loves the USMC!
Good luck.

Thanks.

As far as sitting too low I am surprised nobody has jacked it up, afterall somebody always does.

Is 6.5 Inches really too low?

the Magnum isn't on a truck frame, it's a car frame, and the engine really has nothing to do with being able to plow, i've seen plows on 4 cylinder pickups, it mostly has to do with having a full frame and having a solid front axle, many half ton pickups aren't even rated for plowing because they don't have a solid front axle, I know my father's F150 isn't.

The front suspension isn't beefy enough for a plow. The front fascia would be dragging the ground. Also, you need 4WD, preferably with a low range. AWD wouldn't cut it.

I thought it was classified as an SUV and thats how they got away with factory tints. Also heard something somewhere about the frame being really beefy. Didnt think about the front axle...

it's clasified as a MPV (Multi purpose vehicle) for EPA clasification since it has a flat loading floor just like the PT cruiser is, that doesn't have anything to do with the frame however, the magnum has the same frame as the chrysler 300, just a standard large car frame.

Thats interesting, the two frame identical? I know the wheelbase is the same, and I guess everything else?
