Silver Bullit,

I copied my pictures to a separate photo hosting site. Here is the address:

http://www.photohost.org/

You will need to register, etc., but it is worth it with no cost.

Then download your pictures to the photohost website, copy them to your clipboard, and then "paste" them into this thread.

Hope this helps,
Plasticman

ORIGINAL: MagnumRT

If it came from the dealer, you paid for it, one way or another. The dealer does not give anything away for free.

Enjoy the car,

Bob
Bob,

I would not normally dispute that, but in this case, it is not fact. Magnum came from a 2nd (non-affilliated) dealer, since I was specific in what I wanted, and the 1st dealer did not have it.

The 2nd dealer had loaded up the car and price (separate pricing "sticker") with the typical nonsense - $1995 Enviromental Protection Package, which included "Paint Sealer", "Carpet Protection", "Fabric Protection", "Vinyl UV Protectant", "Leather Treatment", and a $1000 Theft Benefit". Not listed were the pin stripes, so that is where my question came in.

My dealer took that off the selling price immediately, since we had already arrived at a price before he or I even saw the vehicle (based on the options he was told I wanted, etc.). It was never even mentioned, and the ending price was more than fair! I have to assume that the 2nd dealer just ate it, and was happy to get what he did from my dealer.

I'm sorry but that's how some dealers rip you off or how shall I say it "steal". That list is all bull ****.
The "paint sealer" is mayby $5 worth of wax,
the "Carpet Protection" and "Fabric Protection" is about a $3 can of Scotch Guard,
the "Vinyl UV Protectant" a cheap knock off of Armourall,
and the "$1000 Theft Benefit" what in the hell is a Theft Benefit? Lojack only cost $65.

Lucky for you, since it was from the first dealer they just blew it off because it was about $20 worth to them.
Looks like they forgot to stick you for the pin strip too.
Usually they pay some dude $40 to pin stipe it, then tack on a charge of at least $250 to the customer.

Silver Bullit,

Are you able to see the pictures on the separate hosting site (PhotoHost)? If so, copy them to the clipboard via the tab at the bottom of the picture (don't use your mouse "right click").

Then go to this site, and in the thread, right click your mouse and hit "Paste" to insert the picture within the thread.

Here is a picture of my 62 Vette that I just copied using the above instructions.

Silver Bullit,

Have you logged on to the Photo Host site, and do you have a password, etc.? Site is a little goofy, since you have to hit "register" to find the log in section.

Once you are logged in, hit the "UPLOAD PHOTOS" button towards the right side. That will send you to another page with browse buttons that you can upload 5 pictures at a time with.

Tell me at what stage you are having issues.
