New R/T Owner here. Actually, we've had her for about a month or so. Removed the rear resonators to add a little growl to the hemi. Any other suggestions for inexpensive mods?

Replace your factory suitcase muffler with 2 straight thru resonators and put 2 Flowmaster muffers in the rear where your stock resonators were.

Sounds great,

Bob

Congrats on the purchase and welcome!
Magnum is a great ride, still gets lots of looks here in MN.
Wife loves the car, and I get to drive it once and awhile.

Do some kind of vinyl grapics or striping. I also just took off the resonators. Neighbor has MagnaFlow duals on his and it sounds fine at idle or on the power. Sounds like a ricer in MDS mode though. I think it sounds better with the OEM suitcase because it balances out that 4 cyl buzz. I dont notice any annoying drone at any speed. I did replace the resonators with pipes and rewelded the original tips on them.

I already took off the rear mufflers/resonators and had the exhaust shop run pipes and some 4" tips. Do you have a soundclip of the Flowmasters with the suitcase muffler removed?

went on summitracing.com got a catback flowmaster kit for about $500 and put it on. sounds great. you get two 40 series mufflers to replace the suitcase and the put two smaller lookalike mufflers and the back end but when i looked in them it was straight through so i think they are there for looks mostly and ofcoarse it came with crome tips. I have no pics yet and now its witer so everything is all dirty ewwwwww

I cant wait till summer....
