front spoiler for magnum
if you look carefully at my first picture, you can see the seam where i cut the pie shaped piece out.
here is the trick for a perfect fit,
1) cut a straight line in the center,
2) have someone help you force and hold the spoiler to the shape of the magnum's front end by allowing the seam overlap.
3) scribe a line where they overlap,
4) then cut on your line to remove this pie shaped piece.
5) test fit again with your helper and file the seam until the fit is tight and perfect.
6) hold in position and drill and screw the spoiler on the magnum's nose.
there is also a second cut on the bottom side of the spoiler just off center. if you make this cut in the center, the
spoiler may break in two. this cut allows the spoiler to level out across the bottom of the magnum's front end.
the charger's spoiler point up in the center. this cut will just be a straight cut. when mounted, it will be a pie shaped
piece of missing material on the bottom side. it is not seen when mounted.
i epoxied the seams after i mounted the spoiler. you can have a bodyshop fill in the top seam and paint the spoiler
to have the look of a SRT/8.
i hope this makes sense.
