Electrical connector on transmission leaking.

So I've noticed a few drops of trans fluid on the corner of the pan. Everything I have looked up says the connector plug is on the passenger side of transmission but I am seeing it on the driver's side? Why is mine on driver's side if everything says it is on the passenger side? Any help would be greatly appreciated. 2005 Magnum RT.
