06 dodge magnum sxt won’t stay running
So I have an 06 dodge magnum recently got it back after having a new sound system installed. My problem is that the car turns over and starts running for about 2 seconds and then dies. I’ve been searching a few forums and scouring the Internet all morning trying to find out what it is. Ever since the problem started a red light comes on the dash board that’s never showed up before. With both of those popping up so far what I’ve come up with with the information that I’ve soaked in is that I have either a bad IOD fuse or a bad WCM(wireless control module) I just want to get more insight on it so i know exactly what’s wrong and what I can fix before trying to spend a **** ton of money on things that won’t fix my problem. Hope some one could help.
If it didn't do this before you got the system installed then wiring has been screwed with. Your SKIM is either not recognizing your key or for some other reason isn't sending the signal to the PCM to stay running. Either way, if you keep trying to start and run it you'll lock the PCM. Have to figure out what got cut or spliced into that is messing with normal SKIM function.
