Default Wheels on 08

We have an 2008 Magnum, new to us. The wheels and covers are in poor shape and would like to swap them out for a set of Crager mags. Wonder if this would be possible, anybody done this? Thanks

Cragar type or Cragar wheels? I'm pretty sure Cragar is still around and I'm sure they will have some wheels to fit. If you have tire pressure sensors, they will need to be swapped over. Otherwise, just decide on what size you want and measure the off set and backspace and go for it. A shop or store that sells new wheels can measure you old wheels and get you some new ones to fit. I'm partial to the 5 spoke mags myself/

Another option is there are factory wheels that look similar. Keep in mind if you go with the Cragars you can't go too small (like 14's or 15's) or it won't clear the brakes (the front ones at least). This is the factory Challenger classic 20x8 rim, straight bolt on to your car.

Head over to Tire Rack and look your car up. It's common enough that they can probably show you what the wheels would look like on your car. I think they're one of the vendors here so if you buy from them, it'll help support the site.

I did forget to ask, is your car AWD or RWD? It makes a big difference.

That gives you options. AWD's have a weird offset. If you have issues with what you're trying to find, any factory 05-20 18x7.5 or 20x8 is a straight bolt on.

Thanks Magnoom for the info. Disappointed we can't use 15's as we do have a set of 15" Cragars.

I took a look at Tirerack's web page and they can show you your car with the wheels you select. You can even change the illustration color to match your car. That doesn't mean you have to buy them there. Detroit Wheel and Centerforce are vendors here that help pay for the site. They may have new wheels with the 5 spoke design like you're wanting. Personally, I like either black or body color. However, that's me. I'm the resident odd uncle here so your tastes may vary.
