We've been through several starters now, autozone version, and two Bosch starters, all work fine for a few weeks, then it doesn't always turn over, but starts, then after a month, you may need to try for 2 hrs. install a new starter, thing works fine, and the cycle repeats.
Talking to electricians, they point to the power being 'out of spec' in some way, and that causes electrical motors to fail like this.
Don't know how to diagnose, or what parts would be logical to replace, we figured the main power cable, but I guess that's part of the wiring harness that would be difficult to replace. any advice before we install another starter ?
