Default question about rims and tires PLEASE HELP

I am looking to put 20's on my magnum. What is the maximum tire size I can go before I have issues with rubbing? Can I get away with a 275/40 or 265/45? Pretty much what would be the largest I can go w/out worrying about hitting the suspension in the front? OEM overall tire height is 28.6 should I stay under or at that?
I want the tires to look pretty much like stock, but with 20's. Keep in mind I do not like the low profile look. PLEASE HELP!

Default RE: question about rims and tires PLEASE HELP

I just bought 20" Foose Nitrous wheels with Nitto 420s 255/45/20 tires and they fit perfect with no rubbing! Overall diameter size is almost identical to stock. Tire is a lower profile than stock but it does not hurt the ride at all, at least I don't feel a difference. I was going to go with the 275 tires but the place I purchased my set from said they would rub a little. Good luck!
