I want to add at least a K&N air filter, or is it worth it to add the air intake system (FIPK) or one of the other aftermarket units.

I t really depends on what you are tying to do here...if you want more of a "mean" sound then a CAI would give you that. If you are looking for some performance gains.....well i would say hang on to your money until the companies come out with some sort of programmer for the LX platform.
