Default RE: Questions from a prospective Magnum buyer

I have own several car in my day, I have had not one issue with my car. I have had it for over a year with 31K on the clock. If i had an option to buy another one i would in a heart beat. you could not beat me to the dealer if i had the cash. The only thing is i would get the SRT and get it in black and park it next to the silver one i have now. I am a haapy man every time i drive this car.

I hate to say anything with murphys law and all but so far 11,000 miles no problems.
It was missing a few screws from the factory on the hatch weather seal but was fixed quickly.
Gas mileage was around 24 for my daily mostly highway commute before snow tires and ski rack.

People ask me if i like the car and are suprise when i say i do not like it. I "liked" the other cars i have owned but i love the Magnum.

Just rolled 5k on my wifes '05 RT and not a problem to report.
She loves it, and I don't get to drive it enough. Kids like when I drive though, I make it "FUN" but safe.

Congratulation on yor graduation. A great personal acomplishment. You owe yourself a nice graduation present. The toyota was excellent choice as a struggling student but now as a respectable member of adult society go with the Magnum. You'll be glad you did and with the folding seats thee is plenty of room to have misbehavior.

I got my RT in November of '04. It took nine months after I orded it but Wow! was it worth the wait. I have just over 31,000 miles on it. If you are going this way don't skimp on it and go with the Hemi. everything elsse is just too much of a comprimise. I wasn't crazy about the 300 and the charget didn't do it for me either. You really need to drive it. It will blow your mind. I can't figure out why you can even consider the Sion and the Magnum in the same thought. One other point My insuirance company calissified the MAgnum as a Van and the insurance cost me about $64 a month. I'm also getting over 21 miles per gallon. Have fun with the test drives.

Best of luck to you.

I have 21,000 miles on my 05 RT with no problems. I test drove the SXT and RT for a full weekend without a sales person. After driving both and comparing options, I could not turn down the RT.

Also, I still constantly have people, who I don't know, stop me and ask about the magnum. I've had this happen with my Infiniti G35 coupe also, but the age range on the magnum has been anywhere from 14 to 70 years of age.

I got my RT in summer of 04 and had only a very few very minor problems that the dealer took care of. One was a bad window switch on a rear window, and replaced the windshield because of a discoloration on one edge. If you can afford the extra cost, get a Hemi. You get that back if you sell or trade it in anyway. You can tow about anything, gets the same if not better, gas milage as the V6 and its way more fun I like the platform so much Ive already decided to trade the vette in on a Challenger.
