Default shocks

I think I broke my left rear shock.at slow speeds but not on all bumps, I get what sounds like a tick. When I open the back up and push down I can duplicate the sound. I took the wheel off and checked it all out (looks good)when I had someone push down on the car and make the noise I put my hand on the shock and I can feel what I think is the tick. If my shock is broke anyone know what they cost? do I need a shop? or can it be fixed on the driveway? Thanks for any input on this

I am also in the market for some performance shocks but at this time none are available that I know of. Koni and Bilstein are both saying they will have something in the next month or so.
Wouldn't the bad shock be covered under warranty?

If I remember correctly, shocks & struts are one of those things that are not covered........but I guess the only thing you can do is talk to the service dept to find out what they are willing to do.

I hated the stock shocks sooo much i welded up a pair of rancho 9000 adjustable ones. works like magic. let me know if you still need my stock one. also got a ST rear swaybar. it measures 7/8" not 3/4" like all the rest. BIG difference. too bad you have to drop the subframe
