i live in texas and it was required, but i didn't like the ugly *** bracket so i made some slight mods to the plate

Ohio here too. I have a front plate (personalized) because its not worth the hastle of getting stopped for it. Ive driven cars for years without one and never stopped, and a gf got stopped and ticketed 2 times in a year. Just depends on the cop.

I had my Ohio plate bent, euro-style, on the front of my R/T, so all you see is the number.
Cops don't seem to mind as they present me with yet another speeding ticket. I plan
on decorating my bar walls with speeding tix and defensive driving school diplomas.

always been required in every state I have ever lived in.
Have never had it on any ride though.

The dealerships install the plates, they come without them from the factory. When I ordered my Magnum R/T from a Southern California dealership I made it a point to let them know that if they drilled into the bumper and mounted a plate, I would not accept the car.

They did not mount it and I love the clean look. I am willing to take my chances since I have had many cars without a front plate in California and have never been cited....
i was the same as you. i ordered mine and told them not to drill it for the front plate. and if they did, i wouldn't take the car and they could put it in their lot with the other magnums. i warned them about 5 times while waiting for my car to be built.

i got lucky, they listened.

Ohio here as well, it is required here but I put one of the chrome dodge plates on mine, have not had a problem yet, but you never know especially with Ohio State Patrol, they can be tough.

I live in Nevada. Front plates are required. My came with a front plate holder from the dealership so it was easy to put on.
