is the scoop on the hood functional? or just for show?

Yes it is a ram air...it actually guides the air into the intake....

the suicide doors normally take about 6-8 weeks under normal circumstances........

normally it will take less time depending on the shop size

unfortunatley i have had complications getting the hinges i wanted, which is why it has taken so long....that and the repairs from the first suicide conversion.....they had to cut out everything from the last job......
