Default strippers

Hey folks...

My first post...I knew that subject line would get your attention!

Does anyone know if it is possible to get a Dodge dealer to order a Magnum or Charger in a police package for a civilian? Or any other way to get the 'go fast' goodies like Hemi, suspension, etc. without ordering a fully loaded R/T?

I'm looking at a new 05 R/T for a decent price (plus 0% financing) but man, I'd love to have a super fast 'stripper' like you could get in the sixties!

05 R/Ts are being advertised at a few lots for $36,775 Canadian around me, with moon roof etc. they listed for almost $43,000 Canadian originally. It'll all hinge on what I can get for my 2004 Ram Quad Cab on trade though.

Yea, I tried that too. If you want the Hemi, ya gotta get all the RT package. OR, you can get an engine/tranny combination on EBay and install it in a stripped SE.

I couldnt even get a ' Radio Delete ' on my RT, I HAD to get a radio because they dont make a blank plate like they used to.

You can order a police package, but it will still have a radio and A/C, power windows and locks. It would come with plain black steel wheels. It would not have the cage in the back seat, as that is installed afterward at the dealership. The only thing about the interior that most people wouldn't like is that you don't have a console shifter in the police cars, because the accessory rail that the radar equipment and laptop and stuff mount to is there, so it has a column style shifter. The weird part is it's not a regular column shifter, it's more like a small joy stick that comes out of the dash next to the steering wheel. The really funny part is that it still has auto stick, it's located on two thumb buttons on the end of the "joystick".
