my best is 14.2 at 98.
I'm on 20" rims adding some time
It's not hard to get em in the 13s on 18 inch rims.
Mid 14s is average for a stock R/T

dynatech headers, magnaflow exhaust, CAI ( and hood scoop feeding it), and now a Jet Chip II but that run was before I had it. I'll be in the high 13s next time I go out.

Grinner,
Please keep us posted on those 1/4 Mile times after the Chip Mod... I am curious... I have not yet seen any positive remarks about the aftermarket Chip, so please share your infomation with us...

I had to laugh, I called an Exhaust Shop that actually knows what they are doing to inquire about my RT... I asked him if he had done any Exhaust Mods to an RT, first thing he says is, "you want headers?" I knew right away I was calling the right shop...

My cousin has an '05 AWD. He ran a best of 14.3 last year bone stock. He since did a muffler delete and added a CAI. He has not yet had it tuned and ran a 14.2. With a tune he should be in the 13's.

1st time at the track i ran 14.2 with just CAI, mufflers and TB spacer i believe.

2nd time had the same plus GS motorsports Trq mgmt/fan mod, NGK plugs, Taylor plug wires and ran 14.02

3rd time at the track i had all the above plus everything in my signature. the only difference is i had the jet stage 2 chip instead of the superchips programmer that i have now. it was also hotter than my previous track visits. Somehow i was back up to 14.2 with over $2k more invested. argh...though i was in the 13's

now i have the other programmer and it feels a little better even though others have dyno'd the superchip and jet and they say jet is +10 hp OVER SUPERCHIP... I'LL LET THE TRACK DO THE TALKING. should be going back in the next few weeks.

Temperature and elevation have a lot to do with what times you can get with an RT. Stock I ran 15.30s at an elevation of 2700' and at @100deg. I've run 14.80s at the same track when the temp was @50deg. I took my stock Mag to a track at 1200' and had a best of 14.51 at @80deg. When I added Gobson headers I ran a 14.28 at 1200' and @80deg. Right now I've added a four muffler Borla exhaust and am running 14.60s at 2700' and a temp of @mid 50s.

Evaluating reported ETs is useless unless you know under what conditions they were achieved.

i ran 14.28@99.8 bone stock with 700 miles on my car. it was 88 degrees, don't know the exact elevation, some where around 1100-1200 feet above sea level.

14.28 seems to be the magical number for these cars.

I've got a 13.613 @ 103.91 logged from last fall. Cecil County, MD. The breakdown is in the timeslip registry. Mods listed in sig.
