It's so fun to take others that just "know" they can outrun you. And if they do then what...They can go tell their friends you just outran a station wagon with 500 pounds of rocks in the back? It's a win win for us r/t guys...

Certainly didn't buy the racks for looks. It's a necessity. I ended up putting the tandem setup on the wifes work car, since I couldn't open the hatch, and it is bulky. I need to carry my bikes though, or else I have to use the work van or the wife company car, Chevy Malibu. I gave up my superduty and bought this. If I was able to, the bikes would go inside, but there is not enough headroom to stand them up. To much money invested to just through them in the back and lay them down. Not to mention the tandem is too long!
