Does anyone have the inside track on what changes to expect with 2007 Magnums?

 

The way i hear it there will be no changes for the car .

 

There were really only minor cosmetic changes in 2006--some standard features changed and the "RT" logo changed...

So, just wondering: What changes would Magnum owners like to see for the 2007? In other words, what would you like to have had different on your car?

My list:

A smooth floorboard on the driver's side
An angled rear bumper instead of the flat surface that collects dirt
Rain channels on the rear hatch so that water doesn't drip inside the car when you open the hatch
Put the 4-position **** switch on the lights (I cut my **** to facilitate the auto-on headlights)
Switch the slap shift so that shifting to higher gears is a "pull" rather than "push"
Give the front end a more sinister look--like the Charger
Don't use Continental tires
Reconfigure the exhaust to give a deeper growl
Do something with the suspension so that the car doesn't follow every contour in the road--especially at higher speeds
Put pockets in the front of the front seats
Reconfigure the ignition switch with a cover so that the key doesn't leave scratches
Reconfigure the door handles so that your hands contact something more robust than paint when opening the door
Tint the front windows to the extent that is legal
Install a dipstick so the owner can check the transmission fluid level
Change the emergency brake to a lever in the console rather than the foot pedal.

 

The emergency brake is cheesy and has a small head..would like to see lights under the dash and glove box..Better cruise control set-up..Gas cap hanger and something better to fill the gap when you pull the seats down..the little velcro fabric does not hold very well..and have the passenger seat move back as far as the drivers seat..and padded armrests and center consoles...

 

Continental tires do suck. Grinner had a vid of modding the gas cap hanger...I don't know if you saw that or not. Might want to check it out, good stuff in that vid.

What's wrong with the current gas cap hanger? If you hang the tether cord in that little hook, it works just fine.

 

The early built Magnums did not have the gas cap hanger. I had to make a hanger.
