Had you been drinking?? LOL
Surpisingly, no!

If you have after market window tint that contain metal (you WON'T know by looking at it), you will have to go back to the dodge dealer and let them strip and re-install it. 99.9% of the tint shops uses a metallic base tint that can in a nut shell screw up your nav system. I hope that this was helpful.
No aftermarket tint here. I'm just going to chalk it up to the weather, I guess and keep an eye on it for a while. Thanks for all the responses.

I don't have the nav system in my car so I don't really know what options you have. However, the standard for GPS navigation is the 1984 datum. If you have the option of choosing a datum--make sure it is the 1984. Also, GPS works on the premise that the more sats you have--the more accurate your display will be to your actual location. If you have a low Figure of Merit (FM), or low number of readable sats, your accuracy will suffer. High power electrical lines will affect your reception. If you are travelling down a road--parallel to these electrical lines, you may have problems with accuracy. This is especialy true if the power lines are on both sides of the street.

What kind of maps is your GPS using? That could have an effect as well. I know that Google, TomTom (they make a line of portables) and a few other Nav/GPS companies use maps from Tele Atlas which is based in the Netherlands. There stuff is generally darn accurate and they do tend to update their maps frequently (I think I've read its at most 9 months at a stretch).

Maybe the GPS satellites where being used for something else somehwere? Let the conspiracies begin!!
