Might get a new Magnum SXT
There is some sort of cap (not sure how many km) that you can sell the car as new still, at least in Canada. I bought mine R/T with 400km on it as a new car, but i got a better deal on it because of the km on it.
Mine was a similar situation, the car was a trade from one dealership to another. so they drove the car the distance.

No it isnt! I used to work for a new car dealership (pontiac), and the only time a new car was driven for delivery was if it was a dealer trade. If it is being delivered from state to state; it honestly should be trucked in on a rig or flatbed. But the miles put on it are really no different than if you would've bought it off the lot, if it was test driven a few times, or it was a program car driven by a salesman. In all reality; NO it shouldnt be sold as a used car because; you are to be the first owner. The only way it could be listed as USED ( or PRE-OWNED for you PC buttheads); is if there was a listed previous owner on the title.
Actually they should've given you the option to go to St.Louis yourself and pick it up; that way no one else is liable for damages.

I agree Dakota. Not only would you pay the 5 grand more, the hemi is a gas guzzler. Unless you're planning on racing it officially or just for fun on the street, the SXT has got plenty of power for me. We all know we have to pay through the nose for gas with no relief in sight, so why bother? My new black SXT is being delivered tomorrow--can't wait!!! I do have a question for any of you all out there that may know. Since I'm so pickey about the options I wanted, my car has to be delivered to St Louis, where I live, from Chicago, some 300 or so miles. The dealer says they have special drivers they send after the cars to drive them to their destinations. My boyfriend said since they are putting on that many miles to get it here, they should sell it as a used car. Am I getting ripped off? Is this a frequent practice to drive the cars rather than trucking them? Any one know the answer I'd appreciate the info ASAP as I said it's being delivered tomorrow
Thanks
