LOS ANGELES (CBS) Two men and a woman who allegedly robbed a Los Alamitos bank Thursday morning, then fled to southwest Los Angeles, were arrested today after a brief standoff at the South Los Angeles home of one suspect's mother.
The wild chase, which began in Orange County, ended at the house of the driver’s mother. She tried to get him to surrender, but he was reluctant at first, according to KCAL 9 News.
The trio allegedly robbed the City National Bank in the 5200 block of Katella Avenue about 9:30 a.m., said Los Alamitos police Capt. Todd Mattern. No one was hurt during the holdup, Mattern said.
According to KCAL 9, one of the suspects threw money out of the vehicle during the case, along with dye packs inserted into the cash and meant to explode and stain the money and the individuals with it.
The suspects are current being transferred back to Orange County for booking.

That's amuzing... my wife and I kept talking about that car being used for hits, drive bys, and bank robberies. Who knew that it would be this soon after release that it's already in the headlines. (sort of hard to make out the car in the picture though, but how many other cars look like that?)
OMG!! It was only a matter of time, eh? Thanks for sharing this Redriderbob... Good find!! At least they caught the guy... Just goes to show you, even with a badass car, you can't escape the law!
