im thinking of lowering my rt, but im also thinking of towing a couple of quads or jet skies. wil lowering it still be a bad idea. how do i know if my rt even has the tow pakage?

 

i wouldn't tow with a lowered car. besides, you can not lower a magnum with the factory tow package. the self leveling shocks will not let you. if you were able to lower the car, then you do not have the tow package.

if you didn't lower the car yet and want to know if you have the tow package, look at the fourth digit of the VIN number. if you have a "G" then you have the tow package. this is on a 2006 models. maybe the 2005's are the same.

 

Yes they are the same. i have the tow package and no you cant lower this car unles you remove the rear shocks.

 

dam! i do have the tow pakage, now i have to get a boat, jet skies or some quads. is it much more $ to lower with the tow pakage? is there other stuff needed to lower it?

 

you will need about $180 to buy regular rear shocks to lower your car with the tow package.

 

anyone want to buy a set of towing shocks for about 180$ lol!!
