Default 06MNRT Snow tires?

Hate to say it, but I'm already thinking of snow! Has any one changed out to snow tires?
Thoughts?

I've been thinking the same thing... what tires will be best for all season and especially tons of snow and lots of ice?

I am also wondering how the RWD R/T is going to handle the weather regardless of tires... I drove an AWD during my 1st winter here last year and it was still tricky.

Went online at a couple of tire shops and the P225 60R 18 tires are not readily available.
The only one so far was a Continental snow tire, and the wifes car has Cont's on it.
I am going to check and see if they are the same.
Will let you know.
Anybody else driven the RWD Magnum in snow?
Most of us (read, older people) have had RWD and lived to have children.
With traction control drive by wire and all the new sensors in our cars, will snow tires be neccessary?

I think even with traction control we'll have the problem of weight being against us.

Think of sitting at a light on an upgrade and trying to accelerate up the grade without just sitting there and spinning tires. We have a lot of weight to move and it is cause for concern. I only moved to MN this past winter, and as I said... had AWD for the last one so I really don't know what to expect.

I bought Pirelli snow and ice tires last year from the Tire Rack and they rocked!!! We gat a crapload of snow and what a HUGE difference they made!!! Better all around than the Conti's too. No mileage guarantee though. Good luck! Ben.
