New Member - something funny
Hello everybody,
I got my Magnum RT last Thursday.
During the test drive, I felt the car pulling to the right as many of you discovered with your Magnums.
Before picking it up the next day I called the Service Manager to please check the alignment. What he obviousely did, but it still pulled slightly to the right when I picked the car up.
I mentioned this to my sales guy and here it comes - he told me, that this is normal with the newer models, they incidently adjust the alignment a liitle to the right so in case you fall asleep on the interstate the car pull automatcally to the right side.....
So I printed one of your posts with the actual Technical Bulletin Number and took it to my dealer this morning. The car is there now and they are working on it.
I just hope they get it right this time.
If so - I hope I never fall asleep in a straight pulling car.
The second issue I have is, as also experienced from some of you, the throttle response.
It's fine in D but it is extremely hesitant in R especially when the car is parked downhill like in my driveway for example.
I consider this very dangerous and hope that Dodge takes all the complaints mentioned in the different posts serious and finds a solution quick.

Mine pulls to the right just slightly as well. But I'm chalking it up to the grade of the road. If I get on the left lane of a curved road (like most are) it pulls to the left a little. So, I assume that's it.
I know on my motorcycles, the left side of the tire wears quicker for this same reason..

Hope they get your alignment taken care of. It has to do with the subframe and camber on the left assembly. Something screwey from the factory but an easy fix. My dealership got the correct specs from Hunter the last time I took it in and the thing runs straight as an arrow now. Just very slight road crowing which can be expected, but no significant "pull". Good Luck!

I'll answer my own question..
http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/pr.../tsbsearch.cfm
This one lists the 05 magnum, but I can't see how to see the actual tsb. It at least gives you some numbers...
