Default Bad insall or blown speaker???

Hello to all. I have been drooling over the magnum since it first came out and finally got the permission from my wife to make the great purchase. I bought a used Brilliant Black 05 RT with only 10k miles on her. Immediately I had installed a Alpine IVA-d310 DVD Head unit, 12.1 Directed View OHD1202 in back for the kids, Viper 2 way remote start/security system, Alpines vehicle hub pro for Bluetooth Phones.

Since this time (about 1 week) I had been getting a lot of crackling from the front Right tweeter, barley hear out of the right side door and rear. When volume is all the way down I hear a high pitched whining sound from psgr rear speaker. Before I go and raise hell at the place who installed it, is it possible that I had blown the speaker in 5 days? Was this setup correctly? When I brought it to there attention last Thursday he said that it sounds like I blew the Tweeter, and that it would be 340.00 more for a set of speakers…. I feel like he is trying to take me for even more than the 3k I had already put in.

Any advise would be appreciated.

wow 3k its been awhile for me on that kinda of cash for sounds but if you only had it 5 days and there is no warrenty from them or the manufactor something is wrong. i always return things definitly when they are dont working right 5 days later. "different item" but i just returend a 50 tv after a week of using it with no box for a 55 just becuase i wanted a bigger one and they did it. you have to be in good with the shops you use these days but to me 3k is good money and i own a buisness my self and they should be tring to help you more then just saying we need $340 to fix for new set!!!!!!! hope this helps just my option.
