Have you tow'd anything yet with it? If so how does it pull any issues?? As the reality of being able to tow around 3000 lbs in something other then the Jeep I own. Has me crawling the wall.. besides the look of the Magnum!

 

I have not yet had a chance to tow anything because the tow package does not come with the receiver. The tow package contains heavy duty cooling and load leveling shocks, that's it, nothing more.

 

Im assuming it comes with a hitch correct?

 

No hitch comes with the package. Perhaps a better name for the package would be Trailer Tow Prep.

 

are you ****ting me? So after ordering the "tow package"...I have to go out and buy a hitch somewhere else? Does anyone even make one for the magnum?

Heh...This just keeps getting better and better.

Spoke to the Sales manager today....said the car has been issued a VIN and is currently being built...only ordered it the weekend before last too.

I mentioned the trailer hitch to him....he said he didnt have a problem ensuring the vehicle was delivered to me with a trailer hitch installed.

 

The hitch and receiver are both available for order through your dealer. I had mine installed before I took delivery and I have to tell you it is a BEAUTIFULLY engineered package--it it completely invisible when not in use! The 7-way wiring harness has still not been released and my dealer told me to expect Sept. avaialbility.

 

It does come with a regular harnes I assume correct? One for the smaller 4pin connectors?

 

I just found out that my RT with the towing package should ship August 13 or 14. I ordered it June 26.
