Default Stock Dyno Pull

Not quite what I was hoping for... seems a little low, but the AirRaid dyno's are about the same. I'm putting up the one that was the lowest power/torque I pulled becuase this is what you can expect if the car is touch warm.

Only mod I made was getting rid of the huge air baffle below the filter housing. I guess you can say that is something of a "free" mod.

That's not bad. I'm assuming your car is brand new since it's an 05. The power will probably get better.

DId you run into the rev/speed limiter, or doesn't the RT have one?

If I let it 4th gear yes. So these runs were done in 3rd. It's a PITA to get it to stay in gear to get a "full" run from say 2500 RPM all the way up. Hopefully we can come up with better methods. Top RPM is 5600, Top Speed is 126.

Well your probably aware that is better than the Ram. We had to do my truck in 2nd gear since it hit the 108 MPH limit in 3rd. My wife and I have really been fighting the temptation of driving the Magnum RT, but I'll have to live vicariously through this board.[sm=lol.gif]

impressively flat curve....ridiculously rich....gotta be something one can do about that...although it would make a 50 shot work well

All car makers have their cars run rich at top end, to stop drivers from blowing the engine. Seems like we need a computer chip to lean it out and get rid of speed limiter. My old 96' Impala SS ran 253HP at the rear wheels with bolt ons and computer reprogramming.(Ed Wright).

Is anyone making computer chips for the Magnum RT?

I got my RT a week ago.

There are no chips or programmers available that I know of. If I run across one rest assured I will post it immediately. Congrats on your new purchase!

is you're magnum still have low milage (under 1000)? cause your dyno results are much lower than all the others i've seen.

this is a stock magnum dyno pull that K&N did for the baseline magnum for comparison with their intake kit.

2005 Magnum RT
Run Conditions: 99.1 degrees F, 28.95 in-HG, SAE: 1.04

Max power: 271.05 @ 5300rpms
Max Torque: 289.60 @ 4300rpms

also saw another one for a 300C which is the identical drivetrain as the magnum.

was posted that it had an aftermarket intake (no clue which one) and a throttle body spacer.
