Default New RT onwer help

HI,
Ok as I read the posts regarding the Coolest Wagnon ever, I to have ideas that I would like the MOPWRED family to share with me.
I decided on my wheels, 22 inch KMC Jacks & Five Black with chrome lip, car is black.
Now that the wheels have been decided on, some questions come to mind:
1: Power upgrades intake, header, and exhaust. HP gains?
2: Forced induction? Turbo?, Supercharger?
3: Bigger fuel pump?
4: Chip?
5: Sway bars? How bad is body roll?
6: Do I go with the coil over, or just spring? (coil over will give me more adjustability right? as well as better ride?)
7: Body mods? Hoods? 300 M Front End (Foose magnum)
8: HID conversion kit?
I have a budget around 8k after wheels and of course the car,
The forced induction will be last upgrade,
Any and all Help will be greatly appreciated.
Much thanks
Brandon

congrats on your purchase, I will give you what I have heard or know, but everyone has a different opinion. First avoid supercharger, it is blowing up engines, the turbo from hennessey I hear is around 20000, so expect to be really poor. Exhaust, Borla is supposed to be the best for the hemi performance wise, but here you will get lots of opinions. CAI, it is all pretty much the same, but I hear the Mopar is easiest to install. Superchips is the way to go, so many ways to improve and customise your performance, so definitely do the chip cai and exhaust, and headers if you can find a set u like. An airsuspension is the way to go for adjustability, and will cost u 2000+, but that is the way to go, jsut hope you dont have the tow package, you cant lowr the rear unless you remove the self levelling shocks. Body mods are all preference, but there are 2 hoods out RKSport viper style, and goodhoods custom hood, at www.keystonerestyling.com.

Anyways to recap if I had 8000 to spend I would get K&N aircharger kit and a throttlebody spacer, borla exhaust, and superchips to round out the performance mods, and probably cost you about 2000 roughly. Then go with the universal air suspension which you can modify to your preferences, and that could cost anywhere from 2500 to 4000. Which still leaves you around 2000 for a hood and paint, which should be around 12 to 1400, and 600 left for little upgrades like alarm???

I am sure you will get a lot of different opinions and none of them will be wrong, thats why customization is so cool it is custom!!!

Throttle body spacers will NOT help a vehicle with a dry manifold.
If the manifold is wet then it will make a difference.

wet is like the 5.9L gas throttle body (carb looking) that mixes the fuel and gas before the intake runner.
Dry =Hemi= throttle body and injectors are at the bottom of the intake runner=NO DIFFERENCE.
Just FYI

Just a few of my opinions:

intake
...Slap a K&N intake on her (cheap and good enough) HP 1-2 maybe

headers
...(one of the best bumps) HP 10-15 - depends on Lont Tube/ Mopars Mid lenght tubes/Short Tubes

exhaust
... Yep, HP depends on everything else that you have done

Forced induction Turbo/Supercharger.
...Hide-n-see don't jump yet if you like your engine in one piece

Bigger fuel pump?
... if needed it will come w/boosting pkg

Chip?
... Yes, SuperChips FlashPaq. Read all the posts for info

Sway bars?
... Yes, very heavy car

Do I go with the coil over, or just spring? (coil over will give me more adjustability right? as well as better ride?)
...KW coilover, variant I or II

Body mods? Hoods? 300 M Front End (Foose magnum)
...Depends on your taste

HID conversion kit?
...Depends on your taste

Also look at:

CAM several to choose from shop around. Good HP bump depending on what you go with.

Look into the stroker kit heat performance is doing. They have different kits so call and talk to them.

I have only good things about the air, but only on the 300, if you go to lxforums, they have some large threads on suspensions, I hafve also heard great things about the KW variant IIs, from people who have switched from the eibachs.

I've also heard good things about air. I put KW vIIs on my LX and love them.

Early on I saw folks that installed eibach going to KWs but that was early in the LX releases. I'm not sure if Eibac is doing any better now.
