Default adding pictures to your post

I'm kinda computer illiterate. How do I add pics of my car to threads or even next to my screen name. I think I tried it once and it said my picture size was too largeor it just flat out wouldn't let me add em.
If anyone can tell me an easy way to add some pics it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Yates. I can relate. I had the same issues when I started.

Sounds like you're doing the right things but your images are exceeding the allowable size limit.
You will have to open your images with some type of photo editing software and modify the photo size and or pixel dimensions.
I suggest you save them as a new photo (select "save as") so you can keep the original one as it is.

If you have a digital camera it will usually comes with some type of editing software.

I had to resize and reduce my pixel dimensions to within the site limit.
That's what needs to happen. Can't really give you anymore detail than that at the moment.

try opening your picture by clicking on it with a left mouse click, open with PAINT, then click IMAGE, then click STRETCH,SCEW. You can reduce the size there. Then save it as Magmania suggested but with a different name so the original photo will not be effected. Then click below where it says Click here to upload. It will give you a window to browes for your picture.
