Are they surging at startup or all the time?

If it's a startup thing that seems to be normal for some of the LXs, the car's computer stuff is running diags.

my 06 grand caravan did something. like that. the lights would flicker on and off and then not come back on. you would have to play with the switch on off on off to get them to come back. never had it looked at because i traded it in after only one year on having it???

I am having a similar issue.

Every time I turn on the high-beam my exterior and interiorlights flicker three to four times. It is quite annoying. I am having it looked at after the new year. I don't know if it is related but sometimes the intermitent wiper setting does not function correctly, instead of the wipers coming onintermitedly ( at the second setting from the off position) they come on at normal speed (which is about 5 or six ticks from off). Being that this same "stick" isused for the high beams I am thinking there might be awire that is crossed or mis-behaving.

Happy new year to all.

I had the same problem for about 4 months. The last time I had the car serviced the mechanic told me that Dodge has sent a flash to the service dept telling them that the computer had to be reset to take care of the the pulsating lights. Whatever they did,it fixed mine and they work fine now.

@Terry D - thanks for the info. I thought it might be a belt slipping (show's how long I've been working on motors!). I'll have to tell my dealer about the 'flash' you mention. Thanks!
