Default Driver side/Rear Gate Goofs

I just recently purchased a Dodge Magnum RT (Inferno Red), I really love the car and I haven't experienced any of the serious problems listed on this forum. However, there are a few cosmetic, but yet, functional items that bug me. My driver's side window has the felt-like rubber inner seal come out exposed to the exterior (side closest to the door handle), when I close the window. Also, this is less serious but it needs a mention, the rear door (gate) has a crease in the rubber seal (almost like the glue was never sealed). It is not a problem now but when it rains, it could be. I talked to the dealer representatives for both these problems and their response was that they didn't have the proper tools and parts to repair it yet. Bull? Granted it is a new dealership, and they did give me the number of their sister Chrysler dealership down the street, however, how hard would it be to to fix that crap. Anyways, it hasn't been a serious issue yet, just want to know, has any other Magnum owners had these problems. I know with new cars, these things come up.

I haven't noticed any of the issues you mention. I also have an Inferno Red RT....
which is back at the dealer getting some body work done. It came to the dealership
with a dent very close to the right front corner of the sunroof.

I have not had any seal problems on my SXT, which was a very early build. Well, I take that back. There is a piece of foam that sits at the back of the front fenders that is supposed to be glued down on the back edge. Mine has no glue at all so the foam "flaps" around at speed and make an annoying noise. I am having it fixed next week.

HemiMag, funny you mention the dent. Are you talking a real "dent", or just a "ding"? My SXT had a small ding on the front edge of the driver's door, which the body shop buy said is from the weldling when they made the car. Can you believe that? Where is the quality control here? And this is just one of about 7 examples I can give of simple quality control stuff missed on my car. Again, I rack it up to early product model (pre-April).

I would call it a dent....not a big one, about 3" dia. I am supposed
to get the car back late tomorrow. The bad thing, I am a little over
2 hours away from the dealership.
