Default Front skid plate for Magnum?

I have only been driving my Magnum RT for a short time and have already bottomed out the front end entering the parking lot to my business. I have put some pretty NASTY scratches and scrapes on the bottom--you can't see them unless you're on your knees with your head about 6" from the ground, but it STILL ticks me off! Does anyone know if anything like this skid plate is in the works anywhere (this is for a Porsche Cayanne):

I haven't seen anything. Honestly, I don't know that I have ever seen one that wasn't made for a truck or 4x4.

Are you entering the lot straight on? If so, you may want to try entering the lot with the car on an angle, that may stop the scraping. Plus try going at a slower speed, if you can.

If all else fails, you can do what some old demolition drivers did, weld on a roller skate. They used to weld roller skates on the roof of their cars as a joke.

As a last resort, try backing the car in?

Good luck,

Bob

hehe, I too have never seen one of these for a standard car...

My 2000 eclipse was lowered and I had a whopping 3" of ground clearance. So I always scraped I loved the looks and the ride. I paid a pretty penny, so it was stiffer, but did not bounce around like crazy like the hondas you see on the road with cut springs. Honestly I got rid of that car for all the wrong reasons. One of the reasons I traded my truck in on the magnum was that it had so many similarities with the eclipse, but the storage space of a truck
