Ok I’m a newbe with a problem. I have a 05 Hemi Magnum, I purchased a factory REC/Nav radio shortly after I bought the car and that was a very easy upgrade, everything just plugged in. I have now purchased a factory DVD/VES Center Consol out of a yard car. It came with every thing except instructions.
The very long blue wrapped cable from the DVD feeds to the back of the radio however there is no place to plug it into. The connector has several wires but the colors do not match any of the wires from the satellite or from the vehicle loom.
My dealer told me that I might have to cut and splice some wires to get this to work. However I was told by a Dodge tech that everything should just plug in. Should this cable be routed to the satellite receiver or do I actually need to cut into the harness?
I’m stuck with no way to go… Hopefully someone else has done this. If so please pass along your info.
