Default Sticker Price discounts

How is everyone doing as far as getting sticker price discounts. My RT sticker was around $34K and I got $2000 off. Does that sound about right to the rest of you?

Yes, I got $2400 off the sticker price for my SXT. However, that INCLUDED the $1,000 bonus cash. It did not include destination. So I guess the "real" discount would be about $725. Then you have to add taxes. Either way, I felt I got a good deal, and very happy not to pay sticker on a Dodge. But I bought the SXT for price. My dealer was only getting loaded R/Ts for about $33-35k a pop. If money was not an issue I would have gone with the R/T of course! The only way my wife would let me buy a Magnum was if it got better gas mileage and cost less per month than the '02 Isuzu Axiom SUV I was driving (which was fairly new itself).

P.S. Check out this guy on eBay trying to get almost $30k for an SXT:

I'd say you might get this if it was like the FIRST one a few months ago, but now I don't think you can put a premium on them, even the R/T. Enough are on the way.

Because RTs are so incredibly scarce here in Phoenix, I was only able to get $800 off MSRP plus the $1k DC financing incentive. I was certainly happy with that, considering my Inferno Red RT was the only one of its kind within a 50 mile radius.

My Florida dealer was charging $2000 over sticker price, so I refused to buy the car unless he gave me $2000 more for my tradein. He gave in and I bought the car at sticker price, but I also got the $1000 bonus for Chrysler financing.

I probably could have gotten a better deal elsewhere, but I just wanted the RT.
