So I have read that the 300 has an aluminum hood. Am I safe to assume that the same is true for the Magnum?

No they're not. Both the hood inner and hood outer are different for both models. The Charger will also get a unique hood inner and outer when it's made.

They are all made of aluminum.

My error, I meant to say " factory produced hood material for both models are the same.

Not the actual hood itself - good correction catch.
